Why We Need to Look at The Risks of AI More Carefully

We need to look at AI and its risks more closely before adding it into medicine in a big way.

AI appears to be a very promising technology and it can change the way we treat patients but its risks have not been properly highlighted.

AI has little to no regulations

The rules and regulations of AI have not been properly highlighted properly and need to be before we incorporate it in any big way. This technology can potentially be compromised by outside forces with sinister intentions. This is very concerning for people that their personal medical records be stolen because of a flaw in a system by the computer programmer.

As I mentioned, the way a AI machine or algorithm performs is largely based on the ability of the programmer making it. This means too much power is in the hands of the programmer rather than the doctor which is very concerning.

We should focus on making a solid set of rules and regulations before we do anything else with this technology.
